This Mother’s Day, we’re proud to partner with a cause that is close to our hearts: Moms for Moms NYC. They’re an organization that supports vulnerable new mothers with essential care packages to ease some of the stress and financial burden that comes with motherhood. We’re so proud to partner with them and shine a light on the crucial work that they’re doing.

From today (5/7) through Mother’s Day (5/12), we’ll be donating all profits from Everyday Zip Top Tote sales to Moms for Moms.

About Moms for Moms NYC

Moms for Moms NYC was founded in 2014 by Danielle Krupa while pregnant with her second child. As the daughter of a single mother, Danielle knew firsthand how hard it can be to provide the basic necessities to newborns. She founded Moms for Moms to support single mothers, like her own with critical pre and post-natal essentials.

Moms for Moms NYC’s Mission

Moms for Moms provides single mothers living in abusive, homeless, and low-income situations with two care packages that include the critical supplies women need most after the birth of a child: a NEWBORN BABY BUNDLE for their infant and a POSTPARTUM RECOVERY KIT for themselves. These care packages are designed to alleviate some of the stress and financial burden that becoming a mother can bring while also helping to begin one’s journey into motherhood with pride and dignity.

Their Impact

They partner with agencies and hospitals throughout NYC to ensure that their Newborn Baby Bundles and Postpartum Recovery Kits get into the hands of new mothers where and when they need them. These strategic partnerships have allowed Moms for Moms NYC to serve more new mothers while being a crucial resource in Brooklyn.

Moms for Moms has grown sustainably each year since Danielle Krupa founded the organization back in 2014.

Since then, Moms for Moms has helped mothers all across New York City:

  • Over 4.5k Mothers served
  • Over $750k of goods provided to Mothers in need
  • Over 1 million newborn essential items provided

Moms for Moms NYC's Vision for the Future

That one day all new single mothers facing financial and emotional hardship will have the necessities needed to care for themselves and their baby.

That should be a cause that we can all get behind.

P.S. Moms for Moms is celebrating Mother’s Day with a program of their own. Honor a mom you know and love this year by making a donation in their name to Moms for Moms - and they’ll send them this card (by mail or email) with a personal message from you!

If you’re local to Brooklyn, Moms for Moms NYC is always for volunteers. Reach out to them to get involved.
